IRS Status & Information
Here's a summary of what transpired with the IRS.
In October of 2012 we submitted our documentation to the IRS for the purpose of operating the We Help Foundation as a tax-exempt 501c3 organization. We were advised by the IRS to operate as a normal corporation until such time that our application for tax exemption was approved.

Events that took place in 2014.
Matthew is the sole owner of the Corporation as reflected by the tax returns, which have been submitted.
- We received a letter in April of 2014 (see below). This was the first correspondence we received from the IRS. This letter pointed out that the IRS did not approve our application and that we needed to supply additional information. We conducted a dozen or more phone calls until we got in touch with Diane Gentry in August of 2014.

- The IRS agent (Diane) concluded that the way we conduct business did NOT meet the requirements for Tax Exemption and 501c3 eligibility.
- We were advised by Diane to withdraw our application. We submitted the withdraw letter within a few days of this call.
